The league

How it works

The Minecraft Creative League is a weekly build competition. Teams build to a new theme each week and are scored by a panel of judges.

Teams

  • Teams of 2–4 builders.
  • The captain registers the team and shares an invite code with teammates.
  • Teams appear publicly once approved by league admins.
  • Builders under 18 need a parent or guardian's permission to take part.

Weekly builds

  • A new theme opens each week. Submissions lock at the deadline.
  • Upload screenshots or short videos, or link a YouTube video.
  • All uploads are reviewed before they appear publicly.

Build tools & servers

  • Plugins are allowed, but auto-builders and mods are not — every team must construct their builds themselves.
  • A build server is available upon request for each competing team, courtesy of Christian Influence.

Scoring

Each judge scores every build from 1 to 10 in three categories (max 30). A build's weekly score is the average across judges. Season totals add up every week.

Quality

Detail, texture, block palette, polish, and technical execution.

Creativity

Originality of the idea and surprising use of blocks or mechanics.

Theme

How clearly and cleverly the build answers the week's theme.

Ties: highest Theme total, then highest Creativity total, then admin decision.

Conduct

Be kind, build your own work, and keep everything family-friendly. Admins may remove content or teams that break these rules.
